Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the website at stealthaidetector.app handles information. The website provides product information, educational guides, download links, and browser-based writing tools. It does not provide the mobile app's AI detection service or accept image or audio submissions.

Browser-based writing tools

Text entered into the website's non-AI grammar checker, word counter, spelling checker, punctuation checker, capitalization checker, readability checker, sentence-length checker, repeated-word finder, passive-voice checker, essay planner, and text case converter is processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. The text is not transmitted to our server, stored by the website, or included in analytics events. Clearing the field or closing the page removes it from the tool interface.

Website analytics

We use privacy-focused Cloudflare Web Analytics and a first-party Cloudflare D1 event log to measure browser page loads and visits without analytics cookies, local storage, or a tracking-consent prompt. Known bots, headless browsers, verified bots, and low-confidence automated traffic are rejected from the first-party event log when those signals are available. Separate Cloudflare edge totals, which can include crawlers, scanners, API requests, and static files, are kept apart from human-browser traffic and are not used to calculate download conversion.

The first-party event log stores the event time, page path, referring domain, approximate country, region, and city supplied by Cloudflare, device category, operating system, browser, and tool identifier. At the edge, the visitor's IP address is converted into a salted one-way hash so repeat IPs can be counted without storing or displaying the raw address. A separate one-way device hash is calculated from browser and device characteristics such as user agent, platform, screen size, time zone, language, processor count, memory signal, and touch capability. This is an approximate deduplication method, not an account or an exact physical-device identifier. The website does not use this data for advertising and does not store text entered into a writing tool. Google Analytics is not loaded on this website.

Download-button events

When a person selects an iOS or Android store button, we record the store platform, time, page path, button location, and the same hashed IP and device signals described above. When a mobile device opens the website's QR download route and is redirected to the matching store, the event is marked separately as a QR scan. These records measure store-button and QR-route activity; they do not prove that the visitor installed, opened, purchased, or subscribed to the mobile app.

External websites

Download buttons lead to Apple App Store and Google Play pages operated by third parties. Those services apply their own privacy policies and account settings. Other guides may link to authoritative external references; visiting those sites is also subject to their policies.

Mobile app data

The browser-based writing tools are separate from the Stealth AI Detector mobile app. The mobile app processes text, image, and audio submissions through its detection service. App data practices are covered separately by the mobile app privacy policy. This website policy does not replace that policy.

Data retention and security

Hashed download, QR, page-view, and tool-use records are automatically deleted after 90 days. Other website analytics data is retained according to the settings of the applicable analytics service. The analytics administration area is access-controlled and uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. We use HTTPS, one-way hashing, and limited third-party scripts to reduce the website's data surface. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children under the age required to consent to online data processing in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect direct personal information from children through the website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, analytics configuration, or legal requirements change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
